This list is by no means exhaustive so if your concern is not listed don't let that put you off. Counselling is a journey of discovery and exploration, which may lead you to realise that the real issue is something else that has been hidden from your awareness for a long time. Whatever you are worried about it is always better to seek counselling sooner rather than later. Letting an issue get totally out of your control can not only make you feel more distressed and unwell, but will ultimately also take longer to heal.
Talking a problem through can be a very useful way of gaining a new perspective on a situation, that then enables you to change your outlook and move forwards with new beliefs and more hope for your future.
